Terms of Service Last updated: October 22, 2026 Welcome to ClapCraft (clapcraft.com), run by Valeria Danilova in Toronto, Ontario, Canada ("ClapCraft", "we", "us"). By using our site or buying from us, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns Policy and Shipping Policy. 1. Our products We sell: • Custom family tree art – personalized designs delivered as digital files and/or fine-art prints. • Digital products – genealogy charts, editable PDFs, templates and digital notebooks, available for instant download. • Physical products – prints and the Family History Notebook. • Gift certificates. • Free templates offered in exchange for signing up to our email list. We try to show colours and details accurately, but screens vary, and printed colours may look slightly different from what you see online. 2. Prices and payment Prices are in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude applicable GST/HST, which is added at checkout for Canadian orders. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees. Payment is processed securely through Squarespace checkout and its payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). We may cancel and fully refund an order if a price was listed in clear error or if we suspect fraud. 3. Custom orders and proofs • Custom orders typically take 1–2 weeks from order to completion of the design, plus shipping time. • After you order, we'll ask for (or you'll provide) the names, dates, photos and other details we need. • You are responsible for the accuracy and spelling of the information you send. Please double-check it. • We will send you a digital proof. You may request up to 4 rounds of changes at no charge. Additional revisions may be charged; we'll tell you before charging. • Once you approve the proof, we produce the final item. Errors in approved proofs that came from the information you supplied are not our responsibility. • If we don't hear back about a proof, we'll send a reminder. If there is still no reply 30 days after the reminder, the proof will be considered approved and we'll complete your order. • You confirm you have the right to share any photos or personal information about family members that you send us. 4. Digital downloads and licence When you buy a digital product, you get a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to download, use, edit (where editable) and print it for yourself and your family. You may not resell, share, redistribute, or claim the designs as your own, or use them in products for sale. All designs, artwork, text and templates remain the intellectual property of ClapCraft. Free templates are covered by the same licence. 5. Gift certificates Gift certificates can be used on clapcraft.com toward eligible purchases. In keeping with Ontario law, ClapCraft gift certificates do not expire and have no fees. They cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law. Please keep your code safe; we are not responsible for lost or stolen codes used by others. 6. Shipping, refunds and returns Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy, and refunds and returns by our Refund & Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act or other consumer laws that cannot be waived. 7. Using our site Please don't misuse the site: no hacking, scraping, interfering with its operation, or using it for anything illegal. We may update, change or pause the site or products at any time. 8. Accounts and emails If you sign up for our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. See our Privacy Policy for details. 9. Disclaimer Our genealogy templates and blog articles are for general information and personal use. We do not guarantee the accuracy of historical or genealogical information, which you supply or research yourself. Except as stated in these terms and to the extent allowed by law, the site and products are provided "as is." 10. Limitation of liability To the extent allowed by law, ClapCraft is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law. 11. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live elsewhere, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under your local law, which these terms do not take away. 12. Changes We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order. 13. Contact ClapCraft – Valeria Danilova, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Email: hello@clapcraft.com‍ ‍
